I hope that Flightbeam puts some pressure on Asobo. I don’t think they’ll want to release KPHX without surrounding photogrammetry that works properly.

A little hopeful thought — could Phoenix PG being broken possibly mean it’s being worked on for a future City Update? No evidence, just speculation, but it would be brilliant if that area was getting some attention.
I really thought it would get updated and fixed along with the WU22 but obviously that didn’t happen. Hopefully they are fixing it. I thought it looked pretty good until they did something during one of the betas and the trees went weird and then we lost it entirely iirc.
I sure wish we could just get a steady forward march and stop this incessant breaking of things.
Agree with you there, the thing I find very hard to understand is when there was a patch of missing PG in Chicago, near Meigs Field, it got fixed a couple of days later.
So surely it’s just a flick of a switch, change a bit of code, get AI to help lol
Good point. same thing with water masking around the Dry Tortugas – which I have yet to see myself. It can be done quickly apparently.
I’m not personally familiar with Phoenix so I don’t know in what way it wasn’t good enough. We went near there when I was young and had the absolute best salsa I have ever had in my life - orange, hot and delicious! To this day I have never figured out that recipe.
Whatever it is they are doing with Phoenix, I just wish they’d get on with it… I’m not getting younger and my eyes aren’t getting better!
No fix for this in SU6 beta.
Would be nice if we got updated photogrammetry and enhanced TIN data for South Mountain, the Estrellas and Camelback by way of apology much like Palm Springs has had. But not holding my breath.
I think the bad news is there are plenty of poor developers out there that already have stuff in the marketplace
