Pico 4 tiny shake in vr

Hi all, I have a strange problem, it’s not game breaking TBH, but I can’t get rid of it.

While in the TBM850 (any plane actually) just to the left on the edge of the door there’s a sticker shoulder height, I can see the back and forth shake in that better, I have tried every setting in the VD software to try and stop this, nothing seems to help.

WiFi is 1200 as it’s literally next to me with nothing else connected to it as it’s dedicated only for the Pico 4.

I’ve tried different settings in MSFS, changing from DLLS to TA etc Low quality ultra.
I even disabled OpenXR toolkit, no difference. And unfortunately nothing helps.

If I go into another game like NMS or Half life Alex in VR, I don’t see this shake, which obviously indicates the headset is fine.

Anyone experienced this? Any ideas what I could try next?

Thank you in advance

Specs of pc
Windows 10 Pro
i7 12th gen
32 GB ram
MSI Mag Z690 Tomahawk
RTX 4090
CORSAIR RMx 1000 Series™*power supply

I see the exactly problem using Pico4 + vd

Maybe disable SSW in VD…

Ive tried without SSW makes zero difference, I can minimise it by using H264+ codec at 70 bitrate but it’s still there.

I have tried low quality high ultra none make a bit of difference, apart from the above, apart from that it runs smooth, dials look quite sharp and obviously more blurry using DLSS.

Have you tried the VD 1.29.3 Beta with the new VDXR Runtime option?

I haven’t tbh, I forgot to mention changing from 70 90 fps also helped minimise the shake, I’ll try the beta and see how it goes thx :+1:

Pico 4 here.

Don’t have this issue, 90hz always, and SSW disabled.
Also updated to latest beta software with Virtual Desktop OpenXR support.
cheers!

I have similar issue that only happens in the TBM 850. For me the sever so slight slight shaking is the scenery. Outside the aircraft. Inside is stable. I use a Pimax crystal i913900ks 4090. I thought it was my heartbeat or my head shaking slightly but it’s not.

Same here, already used it
