Pilatus PC-24 - FMS speed continuously changing

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Speed settings in the flight plan are continuously changing during the flight which results in the AT increasing/decreasing speed continuously.

  1. plan a flight
  2. use the pilatus pc-24
  3. ensure the flight plan is loaded including speed restrictions
  4. start flying, enable the AP and AT
  5. observe the behavior

• This also happens in the Pilatus PC-12. I’ve noticed that the PC-24 is more stable in descent than in climb, and PC-12 behaves the other way round: is very stable in climbs but in descent AT is completely unusable.

AT in FMS mode is not reliable in the PC-24, but using MAN mode climbs are stable and descents are stable until the aircraft is below FL120 more or less. After that is necessary to turn AT off.

In PC-12 climbs are very stable with AT in FMS mode. AT is unusable in descent either in FMS or MAN mode.

Was just about to say that – even in SU1, PC-12 does this as well.
