Working fine for me and the two friends I flew with last night, so I suggest that you check your control bindings are correct and that there are no double ups. Probably more important, check for clashes with objects in your community folder.

You need to disconnect the control lock and disengage the parking brake. The control lock is located at the bottom of the control stick. The parking brake is on the right side of the throttle quadrant. It’s the cable loop thing.

I’m having similar issues. The throttle on many of my planes wont respond at all. The throttle on the virtual cockpit just stutters continuously without any input from my controls, which makes me think its a bug.

Also, make sure to have the fuel valve (lower left side of cockpit) set to open. You can actually start the engine with it closed, but you won’t get any power to taxi.

And make sure the prop is not feathered - it is set to feather by default when you start cold and dark.

Could you post a screenshot of that? I have nothing at the bottom of my control column.

Edit: I found it in the glass cockpit model, but there doesn’t appear to be anything in the steam version.

Control lock is only on the later G1000 variant.

Now here is a fun fact: the ADF tuner is broken because the outer ring only increments in 100s and not 10s.

But it doesn’t matter because there is no ADF display anyway! (steam version)

That figures. The steam version apparently still thinks it has a control lock because the only control surface that’s animated is the rudder. And with all of them, the so-called cold and dark start spawns with several systems already active. I may look into uninstalling this one and getting the MilViz version.

Even though the control surfaces don’t animate out of the gate it does not affect the handling and the animation can be fixed with a workaround as follows. Load the aircraft as normal, go into dev mode use the aircraft selector and select the PC6 from the list and load it again. Now the aileron and elevator also animate. Remember to exit dev mode.

I’m sure the MilViz is good. The various bugs are annoying but none of them so bad to make me want to uninstall it. Actually I’m having a lot of fun flying it.

The ADF 10’s are tuned with the inner knob. Push the button on the end of the knob to toggle between 1’s and 10’s.

Rather irrelevant because of no ADF indicator, but useful to know for other aircraft. Another example of poor quality control and the devs not knowing their way around these aircraft systems.

FYI, a bug report has been created for that:
