I just made a flight in the career mode, were i was supposed to fly from KMDW to KPSP, and ran out of fuel 30 minutes before landing. I checked the route in simbrief, which gaves me around 1466 nm. But despite having the max fuel onboard, simbrief gives me a fuel deficit of -484lbs , with an enroute burn of 5024 lbs of the total of 5964lbs usable fuel onboard. By the way the wind component was M050 (average wind 240/54).
I checked the performance of the PC24 on their page (2 pilots, 1 passenger and 200lbs of cargo) and found a range of over 1900nm. So technically I should had enough fuel…
Is this an performance issue in MSFS2024? Or not?
I also noticed that on the refuel page, the indicator of the fuel needed, is way below the real fuel needed. I always tanker the PC24 to the max to be sure to have enough fuel.
IMHO there must be an issue in the preflight fuel management system, or maybe is the fuel consumption of the PC24 way too high. Maybe some IRL pilots of the PC24 could help me to understand.
Also, bind “ADD FUEL” to a keyboard button and then you will never run out. You have to fly really high to make it with PC24, it has been an issue for a long time. They did try to fix it and it is better than it was but still not right.
is it working in career mode too? Because it’s impossible to refuel with the EFB
Yes, you can refuel in-flight in career mode using the key bind.
I’ve saved some PC-24 missions like that.
Type in ADD in the search bar in your settings. The ADD fuel option will come up.
Make sure you use that every time before shut down too.
Before a mission you also have the option to refuel under the Manage button after accepting mission.
I have found 3/3.5 hours is about the maximum distance (unless you fly max ALT which I don’t like to do because the TOD is always a problem) without refueling give or take 10 minutes.
Thanks guys, with your advices, I could make an 4.5 hour flight in career mode. It works well.
Another trick is if you fly your missions in VFR, ie cancel IFR before TOC, when you get close enough to your destination is to start descent earlier manually but use a descent rate of say 500ft/min (even 200ft/min) at a steady 260kts, you will see your fuel gauge say you have a lot longer before you run out because she is slightly nose down. Just a little trick if you don’t want to add fuel and you can manage the distance.
Pc-24 still using excess fuel.
I thought this fuel bug was fixed 
Range should be around 5hrs at M.7 with 1 passenger. I get 2.5hrs at 350fl
