Pilot's lounge - What did you do in MSFS today?

Yes the Tokyo area on 24 looks amazing at this time of year, love the cherry blossoms..

At some moment somebody at Asobo must have had that idea and convinced others to implement it. There must be more stuff like this nobody noticed.

Honestly can’t believe that those trees are present IRL.

I know WHAT I want to do, but most of the time I dont know HOW to do it in blender or where to find the correct button. ChatGPT has been a tremendous help for that, as its can give pretty exact tips for my problem at hand. Havent watched YouTube too much, tutorials are too broad and long there… so mostly trial and error, haha.

They sure are. It’s rather spectacular.

That’s reel fantastic then.

Absolutely. I had problems with practically all planes on the ground and in the air until I changed the pedal from a straight to as curvy as possible.

The only RL experience I have in flying is in a glider and unless you used pedals each and every time in any turn it was noticably drifting. But in MSFS you hardly need the pedals in flight except to de-crab. So I just set the curve to be as extreme as possible, else on the ground most planes felt super twitchy and barely controllable while on a takeoff or landing roll.

Mind you, I only ever had one pedal (Thrustmaster TFRP) so I have no idea if others are any better.

Unfortunately, NOTHING! The stutters and hesitations across all my aircraft are killing my enthusiasm, after 8100+ hours. Still on MSFS2020, I have MSFS2024 (I find it a real PITA, and don’t use it). I use a RTX3090ti, 64Gb RAM. Everything was working fine, then…

This seems to have started after the last MSFS update, maybe the one before that, seems two came in pretty rapid succession. I regressed to an earlier Nvidia driver as suggested, but no joy.

Anybody else having similar problems?

It’s funny I actually went on a vacation IRL, and I saw this looking at the airports where i went on vacation and saw this,

A321’s, a320’s, a319’s, embrear 175’s, embrear 145’s and the 737 800’s dominated the Charlotte (KCLT) traffic, while on Hilton Head Island (KHXD), that international airport were taken over by the Embrear 175LR’s completely along with occasional PC12’s

So we just need a default a319, 717 200 (Because delta uses them) 737 800, Embrear Embraer e145, and e175LR for default aircraft, didn’t really see much of the 737 max aircraft in action because I saw more of the 800 NG’s
