Yeah the G2 is so easy to pull on in 1 second, push up too. And so effortlessly comfortable. Really noticed that during my brief stint with the QPro.
I participated in a trial event held in Asakusa, Tokyo this year.
This was a big surprise, but itās very comfortable to wear and feels lighter than my 5k+ with my DAS installed.
I am using 8kx now.
I defined the IPD by adjusting the focus one eye at a time.
The āTOP Cushionā is extremely useful in making this adjustment easier, as well as improving the quickness and stability of attachment and detachment.
Perhaps when the crystal has a problem, it will be possible to attach and detach it in seconds using the same method.
I think Iāve experienced a DCS default night landing mission with a 3090 or 3080.
I could see the lights of houses in distant villages three-dimensionally.
It reminded me of an old memory of mine, how it looked when I came down from the mountain pass and saw the human village.
However, this is already a premise from the beginning, but it is a pity that there is no useless viewing angle.

Just got my message from Pimax to complete payment this morning, and I ordered on April 29, so theyāre moving through the pre-order stack pretty quickly now it seems.

I paid last Sunday, confirmed my address on Wednesday, but no shipment still. Looks like they are now focusing on collecting the money, I hope their focus will soon turn to actually shipping.
Pre-ordered 25 of March.
Being such a small company, I wouldnāt be surprised if they have a cash flow problem and need the money to pay their suppliers in order to get production ramped up.

I was trying to wait for the OmniumVR1 or BigscreenBeyond (still have a vive pro and so miss the OLED blacks when using the Pico4)ā¦ impatience got the better of meā¦
My god does anyone know how to get these ā ā ā ā Crystal controllers to work properly in ANY VR PC GAME.
Most of the time the buttons donāt even do anything and the other part of the time they lose tracking with full battery and disappear.
I absolutely loath these Crystal controllers and looking for ways to get Index controllers working with Lighhouses.

My Crystal has been shipped. Yay!
Just got the email from Pimax saying it has been shipped, along with the tracking number. FYI, I pre-ordered mine on 30th January and paid for it on the 18th of June. So it looks like they are really getting them out the door now. 
Yay for you! That is encouraging time between pay and shipā¦ maybe Iāll see mine in Augustā¦

Just got my shipping notification as well (April 29 pre-order) with glass lenses confirmed, four days after payment. I was surprised as they said shipping would happen in three or four weeks, so it seems they are moving through them quicker now.

Payment: June 25th
Address confirmation: June 28th
Tracikng number received (package picked by FedEx): July 6th (11 days after the payment)
Destination: European Union (they ship now to selected regions only)

Good to see people on here are getting theirs sent ever more quickly. Mineās got as far as Singapore on its way to Oz as I type. I canāt stop myself mashing that tracking number throughout the day. Itās a wonder the FedEx site doesnāt crash, lol.

For you future owners, I have found that the studioform apache strap is a great addition for increased comfort - it spreads the weight our across your head better and reduces (but doesnāt completely eliminate) the inertia induced wobble from faster head movements:

All that money and you still need to buy a strap. 
Sounds like a customer review of an Ann Sunmers store 
The lack of such a strap is certainly not the only drawback of the crystal despite its fairly hefty price tag.
I suggest if the optional additional expense of such a strap to enhance comfort is a step too far at the Headsetās price tag, this is most certainly not the headset for you - it is far from the only potential source of disappointment if one is expecting things to be perfect at such a price of entry.
Off the top of my head for me personally:
- Overly wide facial interface
- Glasses cut outs leak light and are on BOTH provided interfaces (non glasses wearers not a priority I guess)
- DMAS Audio not standard fit going forward, provided audio solution apparently significantly poorer
- Narrow Eyebox for distortion
- CA is still something of an issue with glass lenses compared to eg pancake options such as pico
- Excessive size to save money with the 12k sharing the same housing, despite the smaller displays in the Crystal
- Eye tracking, Wireless and Standalone still MIA
- Poor controller tracking
- Proper OpenXR support only through the hard work of mbucchia
- Pimax Client still a WIP, lacking features of eg Varjo Base
- Battery clip mechanism is tedious
- Decidedly not high end feeling IPD/Volume/Power buttons, placed in just the right place to annoy as you adjust/remove the headset.

Wow that is a long list of need to have items. I will give it some more time to see if things get worked out. I hope that the Valve Deckard comes out soon or I will have to get a Quest 3.

Any idea what the turn around time is when they say its ready to ship? I got a notification 4 days ago that it was ready and could I verify my address again. I did this straight away and Iām still waiting for a shipping notification.
