Pink textures at many airports, buildings and antennas.

I have followed Asobo’s instructions on how to get rid of pink textures deleting some folders, but it hasn’t helped.

PC specs and/or peripheral set up if relevant:

Have you tried to test in safe mode ?: go to Windows Task manager, terminate msfs.exe and restart the sim. You’ll get the safe mode option available.

I did and it didn’t help either.

What I tried, deleting all the fs-base folders related to scenery and textures.
That loaded the textures back once.
Now when I try to install the missing packages, the sim crashes to desktop every time without finishing any of them.
I’ve tried about 20 times now, and I don’t know what else to do.

This also happened for the first time, after upgrading to SU 15.
And somehow stopped happening after xxxx attempts.

The usual advice for stuck downloads is to shut the sim down, go into the OneStore folder, and delete any partial downloads that were not decompressed, and then relaunch the sim to try again. The downloaded files sit in root of the “Official/OneStore” folder.

Steam version equivalent?

Shoot me, now it’s not only the sim crashing, but it actually sent my computer to BIOS screen.
Just Steam and MSFS opened and running, trying to update city update USA.

Also, the crash always happen when it begins to download updates, like not even one third into it.

I have the ms-store version, not sure where is located the OneStore folder for Steam

Moved to User Support Hub User Support Hub > Scenery & Airports for community support.

I don’t think there’s OneStore folder for Steam, as that is MS Store only.
