The GNS 430 in the standard 172 and DV20 are working right. Which plane were you using? I’ll give it a try and see if I can duplicate.

Pipistrel Virus SW121
Worth noting that this aircraft is not using the WT GNS 430.
I can confirm the 430 in the Pipistrel Virus SW121 did not display any information for the 12 airports I entered, and didn’t display any information for airports that it should have picked up as I rotated the dial through the digits/numbers.
Nice Find!

Thanks for confirming,
It really isn’t hard to find issues with the Pipistrel Virus and its avionics, this plane is a mess. I can’s see how anyone at MS / Asobo seriously tried to load / create a flight plan in this plane and then attempted to fly without being greeted with all of the issues.
I did not know that. The Pipistrel is one of the top tier aircraft included in the premium collection, right. How could this plane not have the best avionics package?
I have no idea sorry.
I would expect at some point that WT will call the GNS End of Life (or MS makes that call), given some comments that GNS is rapidly being replaced in the real world with GTN units.
The question then begs itself, a) what happens to the aircraft that are stock Asobo with GNS, and b) what timeline would be given for Third Parties to convert over in time with the GNS retirement.
The answer to a) could be that MS rescrubs it’s inventory of “stock” aircraft, and maybe lean out the ones that haven’t received updates in a long while - probably helped along by license deals that are up for renewal (or retirement). The Pipistrel could be one of them - given that G3X Touch Portrait is way low on the WT backlog given all the other work MS has given them.
Just some musings…
Got it. I may just have to find another plane to fly. The Pipistrel is the closest GA high wing glass cockpit in the MSFS fleet that models after want I want to fly in real life.
