I notice if I toggle the drone camera or just use the menu to click on it my plane will pitch us signficantly almost to veritcal. Why is this happening? I have checked my joystick assignments and there are none there for control surfaces, just using it for the drone camera. Obviously same for the menu selection. I also notice if I detach the camera menu to a second screen and then scroll my mouse over the menu it will actually move the elevator up and down? I have edited my mouse to remove any control surface assignments. Any others have this issue?
Hi @MarkCYYZ - Please check your control bindings for conflicts. It seems you have more than one setting bound to a specific key or button. When you go into Options / Controls, you can “Search by Input” to find what settings are bound to a key or button. Easy to find binding conflicts this way.
Or for manual flying the controls are not used during drone cam so the plane will follow its own trajectory
I have double and triple checked, nothing else is there. This is caused when I use the yoke or even just clicking the camera window in game. Something is off here.
Interesting, I get the opposite. Plane pitches downwards when I toggle drone camera.
As I replied elsewhere, I doubt it’s a binding issue since you get the same effect when you click on the “showcase” tab on the camera window while in the cockpit view. No need to press any key. By the way, it seems to be a bug in the base simulator since payware aircraft (Carenado) are affected as well.
