Brief description of the issue:
Right after taking off, the planes turn left and downwards, resulting in a crash
Provide Screenshot(s)/video(s) of the issue encountered:
Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:
Line up plane on runway and take off. As soon as the plane lifts off the ground, it sharply veers left and I get the message “Warning: Climb Angle too low” right before the crash. I thought maybe I was messing up with my takeoffs but then I have seen the same happen to AI flight assistance multiple times now.
PC specs and/or peripheral set up if relevant:
Xbox Series X
Build Version # when you first started experiencing this issue:

I got the same issue. Rudder assistance on takeoff is making it a little better except for the A320nx and it Is not the best solution. The effects on ground are way too much.

Change controls from Legacy to Modern.
They are already at Modern.
I apologize for bumping up my old topic. I would really like an update on this. It seems like flight assistant AI cannot seem to fly any prop plane anymore and it feels like something is interfering with my input
There are two things I have noticed happening recently which are most likely related:
-
I press A to accelerate, hold the line, get up to 40 - 50 knots on the props and then suddenly, some sort of AI bug interferes and cuts all power to the engine and it will override my attempts to get it to power back up. As this is happening, the plane will start veering left and right wildly.
-
I press A to accelerate, get up to V1, roll and about 50 feet above the runway, the plane suddenly stalls and veers sharp left or sharp right.
BOTH of these issues are happening with or without flight assistance.
This is not an issue with the jets AFAIK because I have not encountered it yet. Honestly, these persistent issues with flight assistant have killed all the fun out of this “sim”.
With jets, I have noticed that that the flight assistance AI will not follow the gold parts of the AI flight plans. I mentioned in another thread and others have confirmed it.
These issues started happening to me AFTER SU11.

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
Once up to around 30MPH it violently veers to the left and is uncontrollable with the rudder peddles.

This appears to be on certain aircraft and is more pronounced on some. The Grumman Goose is almost impossible to take off normally.
