Does anyone know if this is being considered or in the works ?
HI, make a group, create a discord server and then talk together
I know what you posted was a helpful work around but it really isnt an answer to what I asked.
No idea if it is considered.
I did mention in the multiplayer thread that it would add to the realism if we could talk in-game by using a com frequency on the radio panel.
For now we have to do with external resources.
How about a simple chat, no matter if global, local, language or all of them.
In Diablo 3 there is a global chat that everyone is opted out by default.
There is the official discord, It doesn’t seem well organized or very populated yet but I’m kind of Discord stupid. EDIT: I thought you could create groups but I don’t think you can.
We all have XBox chat, since MSFS is built on top of XBox tools.
Yah was thinking more along the lines of tuning in a freq in a plane and talking to other pilots that are tuned into same freq.
I-racing utilizes a form of open chat that only applies to the race you are in, and you can mute people, and it stays somewhat civil as their terms are quite strict on behavior, and a very active “reporting” system. They will ban you for weeks or months for misbehaving driving, talking, harassing, etc. So it can be done, but you have to have some kind of standards and enforcement, and I doubt they are going to pay a team to sit around, read complaints, ban people, etc. And if you don’t have that, it’s a Call of Duty waiting to happen.
I would like this feature too. None of the above suggestions are ideal.
Sounds like a good idea, you can make a post about this in the https://forums.flightsimulator.com/c/self-service/wishlist/163 forum.
DONE Done dun.
