Hey,

I’m looking at buying the prem deluxe for pc as it’s a great price just now.

How would I access it on the Xbox?

You’d buy it on XBox. Buying a game on one platform does not give you ownership of the same game on another platform.

Edit: I was wrong in this case.

Hi

I bought from Microsoft store on the PC. It also shows up as owned in the x box store. You can then download it already. I have just downloaded it but it is not playable until launched

The XBox version (Standard) will be free for Game Pass, that is ca 23 million people :stuck_out_tongue: brace for impact this week… when 50% is going to download and play… we’ll have a buzy forum here !

Yes, it does when it’s a “play anywhere” title.

I believe you’re able to pre-load the base game, and on launch, additional content (such as premium deluxe) will be made available to download via content manager. Since you’ve purchased it already on the Microsoft store, you’ll see it on your Xbox account as well for pre-load.

I stand corrected. This is the first time I’ve seen a full game available cross-platform for one price. You learn something new every day.

Yeah, I was going to leave it at that, but for £88 to get the full thing, too good to pass up.

You’re right… It’s sensible too, to have the complete version. You’ll get all planes :slight_smile:

Also keep in mind you can only fly on either the Xbox or PC. You can’t have MSFS open on the Xbox and PC at the same time.

And doesn’t it NOT work with a Steam purchase (or so I understood)?

Correct. Only if you buy it from either the MS gaming store on the embedded Xbox store.

Thanks all, I bought it, after I paid it popped up asking if I wanted to install it on my Xbox. If I look in my games library, the standard edition is there, however if I look up the prem deluxe, it shows as owned.

It appears to do that, the consensus is that it’ll all be in the content manager just fine.
