Hello, so I have a small issue where sometimes when I go to load a flight, the flight will load however when it gets to the screen where it shows the plane lining up, the button which say fly or play never comes up. I then have to go back to the menu and load the flight again where it usually works the second time. I have tried reinstalling the sim as well verifying the files through Steam with no luck
Does anyone know what might cause this and how to fix it?

This is a rather old post with the same problem.
I’ve had this happen to me a couple of times (PC, no VR), but have no resolution for it. 
Thanks for the help. I’m not using VR, but I am on PC. Hopefully someone ha sa solution but like I said its not the biggest issue since usually it will work the second time. It can just be a litle annoying is all.
Try switching >|GENERAL OPTIONS, ACCESSIBILITY, SKIP PRE-FLIGHT CINEMATICS" to “ON”…
Yeah this happens to me in VR occasionally. Annoying but not an issue since restarting the flight is almost instant.
