Just like the title says, please add a BIG Warning to Scenery bought via Store, since they are missing an important Feature compared to when you buy it outside. The Airport BGL File is encrypted when you buy Scenery via the store. This is a big issue, since AddOns like Flightplanners, GSX and such are depending on reading this file. Unfortunately i realised it too late and already bought some Scenery via the Store. Now my Flightplanner is not able to show the correct Ground Mapping… Also AddOns like upcoming GSX will have trouble with that. Until this is fixed, i refrain from buying any more Products via the Store since they are not the full Product as the devs intended it. Keep your encryption if you need it for those pirates out there, but please exclude the Airport BGL from it… I was really happy that i now have an easy and fast option like the InSim-Store and now i just wasted a lot of money on Scenery that are missing important features…
Me too, I’m now unistalling the airports bught from the mfs store and re-buying from the developers…

Is this also why the WT CJ4 cannot look up the ILS frequencies for the Tampa EKCP that I bought in the in-game store?
Well, they should drop the encription entirely. It causes more issues than it should.
Once more, the paying customer gets negatively affected by copy-protection… this is just stupid.
Shouldn’t be the case since you can totally get the data using the APIs in game.
The issue is with external applications scanning your content and not being able to access the BGL files.
The encryption makes all of this a mess. It works for XBox since there you can’t run other applications anyway, but for PC it basically breaks some valid use cases for people willing to spend money on the marketplace.
