Game pass contains standard edition. I maybe met one person having standard. They all do having premium deluxe. I am in several groups each with hundreds of people and they all have premium deluxe or aviator. So don’t know where you get that most people have game pass. Because they really don’t.
I don’t know where you get that most people on multiplayer have premium deluxe or aviator. All I see on multiplayer are people fooling around and doing barrel rolls and loops with airliners, and crashing. They’re not the kind of people who spends $120 on MSFS.
The only real use of multiplayer I can think of is formation flying, as pilots on VATSIM turn off multiplayer.
FYI I am playing on Game Pass. I’m a CPL/MEIR in real life and I won’t pay for 2024 until the addons (PMDG, iFly, FBW A380 etc.) get transferred over.
I barely see people at all in 2024. Maybe one or two depending on the time of day. North or west Europe. I would guess a fair amount of people on this forum bought more than just the standard edition. But I don’t think that applies to the rest, including me.
yes, same for me.
My fellow pilots cant see me, but I can see them.
And yes, I’m absolutely sure, that everything in fs2024 is setup correctly!
It’s a bug, which exist in msfs since the realease in 2020.
And nobody of Microsoft or Asobo seems to be capable of fixing that!
Instead it got way worse than before in FS2024!
It’s terrible!
But that another topic. sorry.
Your thinking is somewhat delusional. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024’s player count on Steam has diminished by over 60 percent since its inception. The investment in hardware alone, disregarding a substantial amount in software, amounts to millions for Asobo. The incentive to keep 2020 alive and thriving is for the foreseeable future. And given the current state of 2024, it will be quite some time before 2020 is abandoned.
Also, the fact that you no longer “own” 2024, you’ll be totally subjected to the whim of a flailing game developer.
They are about to synchronice wind and thermic movements and cloud formation in 2024 to do a proper shared cockpit experience. That’s why they don’t mix 2 different engines.
guys, what the heck has this to do with the original subject?
