I’ve gone and vented my fair share about this issue as well, but I hope if Asobo reads any of this, that they understand that our frustration is born out of a love of their game and a belief in its potential.
Beyond that, I wouldn’t be so quick to hope for a wider rollout of either the CFD model or this new ground handling model. The new ground handling model seems to require that the CFD model be enabled because it does some really wonky… stuff… if it’s enabled without it. (e.g. try taking off with a control deflected slightly - nothing will happen until about 40 knots, then the aircraft will lurch wildly.) It doesn’t do that if both CFD and new ground model are enabled, but the C172 G1000 with CFD enabled feels “cartoony” compared to the C172 classic without the CFD model enabled. The CFD version feels more “on rails”, and that’s not a desirable feel for any airplane I’m interested in flying.
