If this was already mentioned, I couldn’t find it.
Could it be an option for ATC to mention what heading to turn to during takeoff or switching waypoints without pressing the “Request Vector to next Waypoint?”
For example, “Airline 81, Altimeter 29.21, Winds 25 at 19, turn left heading 92. Cleared for takeoff runway 1”
That would require ATC to function properly. Which ain’t happening.

It would be even nicer if after telling you to ‘expect vectors’ it actually gave you some!
But yes. The ATC system is due a major overhaul by the Working Title team as part of their work on the core navigation functionality. No timescale for that.
