I have just started trying the Lock mode cockpit interaction. I can’t figure it out, please help me!
For example, I want to adjust the altimeter setting in the Cessna (just a random example). I hover over it with my mouse then the knob turns blue. But that’s as far as I’ve gotten. No matter what I try clicking on the mouse, nothing happens. When I turn on the tool tips it says “press ? to lock”. What am I supposed to do?
Click/Hold/drag left or right to adjust. Can also roll wheel mouse for fine adjustments
I think all of that only works once I succeeded in locking the knob (I think it’s supposed to turn green once it is locked and ready to be manipulated). But I can’t lock it. Pressing ? doesn’t lock it. I think I must somehow assign my left mouse button to the locking function, but I can’t figure it out. What assigment in the controls options let’s me map the lock function? I tried “interaction lock” but that didn’t work?
Go to options > controls options > mouse.
Select default mouse profile.
Apply and save
