Referring to the 737 again, out of genuine curiosity, how many of those who fly the PMDG version (and have learnt all the buttons/switches) would feel they had a good chance to be able to fly the real deal if they stepped into the cockpit?
Maybe therein lies Boeings reasoning to deny any reproduction of a thorough detailed flight manual. Perhaps history has shown how dangerous simulators can be.
You don’t get any documentation for the F35 etc either.
I heartily agree with opinions on other aircraft, anything bought on the marketplace has nothing (though much is googleable) and the likes of the Junkers F13 came without a single page, easy to figure out, but very annoying when you pay for the aircraft. Just bought Okavango Delta from the marketplace….nothing, then a couple of hours googling for the contents of the manual you get if you bought from Orbx. Annoying.
