I did the two command lines in Power Shell Admin, rebooted and my game has been working great now for the last few days.
The only issue I still have is MSFS and Windows Games are in an endless (download/install) loop in MS Store (the circles along side each of the two apps) have been rotating for days in spite of reboots. Other than that, as I said the sim starts and runs fine.
