Please make an option to end a mission (not abort) if you land successfully, but ATC got stuck

Hi,

just happend again. Now for the third time I was not able to end a mission because the pseudo-ATC got stuck somewhere midflight. I mean eventually I got a parking spot assigned, usually marked by a white box. But this time I got some arrows but no white box. I could still see that ATC still wanted me to overfly a waypoint which I already had. So I was not able to trigger the end of the mission. Why does it have to be a specific spot on the ground? I mean the default Asobo airports look horriable and with complete wrong layouts anyway.

Best regards,
Felix

How about they just fix the ATC?

ATC gets stuck because your radio comms frequency isn’t being automatically adjusted. It’s probably a bug.

The workaround is open the Comms Window and scroll to see what the comms frequency is supposed to be on the radio.

If you are trying to talk to an uncontrolled airport, try using the comms window to select that airport. It usually fixes it then. You may have to manually adjust the radio frequency though.

If you can’t figure out the necessary frequency, try to look it up in the EFB or on the web using AirNav.com, SkyVector.com, or some other airport info lookup service.

I can not confirm this, as I have already tried that. It does help sometimes, but many times it just got stuck no matter what you do.

Off course that would be the way to go. Considering the fact that over the years default ATC has not improved much I doubt that this is going to change . Actually I can live with that as I usually use BATC or Say Intentions. Just for the missions there needs to be some options to bypass faulty defauATC instructions.
