I was shouting curse words at my screen the first day of trying to understand the control setup interface, but then I watched a couple instructional videos on Youtube, and when I suddenly understood how it worked, all my frustrations melted away. The only thing left was the tedium of deciding what buttons/keys I wanted to map, but the interface itself is no longer a bother for me and it actually works well.
