If you visit the high altitude airports in Napal you’ll find that the Baron really struggles to gain altitude on 100% mixture. I took off from an airport and nearly crashed because I could barely get off the ground and didn’t know why. I couldn’t climb any higher than about 500ft AGL. I reduced the mixture and was easily able to climb another two thousand feet. Mixture has a big influence up in the cold mountains.
I have no idea how accurate the simulation is though. I’m just saying that something is definitely simulated.
I can agree that something seems wrong with the Barons power though. I couldn’t get it passed about 80% of it’s stated top speed when I last flew it. It wasn’t always that way. It started happening after they made tweaks in the last patch. I filed a bug report on that one already.
