PMDG 737-600 how to deactivate Take off config after landing?

Sometimes I can’t taxi any more because I got a take off config warning.

But there are no spoilers out so far as you can see in the following pics. How can I disable take off config?

don’t move the thrust levers to far for taxi. If you move em over a certain point, the aircraft logic think, you’re giving takeoff power and that triggers the warning because you don’t have takeoff config set.

I already thought that might be a problem, but I focused on flaps, brakes, spoilers etc. But in some cases it even warned at very low throttle so that I could not move anymore.

If you can’t taxi after landing you probably damaged tires and need them replaced.

probably not helping that your P. Brake looks engaged, and not in the wholesome way.

As Sunday said you don’t need much power for taxiing. max maybe 40% n1 just to get you movin but bring it back after that

And someone can correct me and/or explain it better, but after the autobrakes deploy on your rollout, you need to actuate the toe brakes to basically “turn off” the autobrakes. I have struggled to get moving after landing because it feels like the brakes are being engaged and tapping the brakes disengages them.

Yeah, that’s right. The parking brake is engaged. You can see the red light. In that case, not even toga can help you much.

Ok that would be great i mean realistic in a very positive way. But I always get warning “Takeoff Config”. With broken tires?

I looked at that red light, and it was turned off. The parking brake was definitely disabled. I follow your idea but when I am starting the flight more than 40% while taxi seems to be no problem, but I have to test it to confirm it. Not that I am telling you wrong.

Probably your last paragraph is my problem + Takeoff Config.

yes if your autobrakes are still engaged you will eventually come to a full stop. depress the brakes slightly/quickly before that to disconnect them. You should definitely be able to tell the difference. Do you let the aircraft completely stop on the runway, like it would if you dont disconnect the autobrake?

what I dont understand is that you said you get this warning even at low throttle input.

Takeoff confg warning starts around 65% N1. More than enough for taxi when the brakes are not set or blocked or flat tires.

Can I see flat tires from outside too?

I don’t think so. Boeing does not allow visual damage to their aircraft in simulation products.

You might not have the V speeds configured or the trim is wrong. I think one or both of those can give the error.

Probably also need to turn on both flight directors and auto throttle too.

that’s not even exclusively Boeing. Truck Sim (Euro and American) can’t have visual damage for the same reason: manufacturers don’t want their products represented in visually damaged states. You don’t even get smoke from the engine when you rear end something.

and for flight simming it’s a little more than that too: After 2001, virtually crashing planes became a bit of a taboo, so much so they cut out any sort of damage representation. You can still fly dangerously, you’re just not going to get any visual realism out of it when you screw up and crash.

I don’t believe any of those are conditions for a TO config warning in a Boeing.

Yeah, maybe I’m thinking about the HJet or CRJ.

Hm that is too bad. It will help immersion if you see what happened when you did wrong to the aircraft.
