since the latest update, I have no nose wheel steering. In the PMDG 737-700, tried going into the menu but nothing about the steering. This is after the update; a day prior all was fine. Anyone knows what’s wrong.
Controller binding lost?!
In the sim nosewheel steering is located under Control Options, Miscellaneous.
In the 737, on the FMC, it is located under PMDG Setup, Options, Simulation - page 7 - Steering Hardware Type
Mine did not get lost, and it seems to work better for me. BUT day before SU-12 and PMDG update, my rudder pedals arrived. They refused to setup correctly, finally at midnight, quit and went to bed, going to try again next day. Lo and behold SU-12 popped, and with PMDG update, the Sim saw my VIRPIL pedals right off the bat, configured them and all I had to do was uncheck the reverse box. As of last night still working fine.
My parking brakes does not work either. Can’t set my parking brakes, and nose wheel steering don’t work. went to 737 FMC and to setup , options, simulations, and I have steering hardware type, rudder only.
Did you download the PMDG update which addresses the parking breaks in su12?
In the PMDG Forums I found this " Nosewheel was damaged. Repair function in PMDG Setup - Aircraft - Failures - All Systems - Maintenance - Service all helped to solve the problem with noosewheel. " and it worked for me.

This worked for me also.
Although I didn’t think that I had any failures setup. The clue for me was the hydraulics low pressure wouldn’t go off after startup.
I had the same prob but found that GSX was at the bottom of it all, so now having removed GSX and using MSFS Push back or the PMDG’s own push back, all the issues have gone.
I have recently switched over from Xbox to PC and just set up my Thrustmaster pedals directly into the computer thinking that it was an issue with steering both during the departure and arrival of the 737.
I have read so many reports that it could be this or that being the problem and like Xbox I know all systems are different and I have tried many things.
However, what I can’t figure out is why my change to PC has prevented me from steering and as I previously noted the nose wheel was perpendicular to the plane when leaving the gate. I also couldn’t turn off the runway to a taxiway at an airport.
My question is what MSFS settings should I make as the hardware seems okay and just last week I could see the rudder move and the corresponding pedals in the cockpit were moving with it? I am at a loss because this also affects me flying the 777!
Hope someone can help me because I’m dead in the water, so to speak.
