Pmdg 737-800 LNAV button won’t activated in runway (?)

I’m at runway ready for take off, but when i click the LNAV button, the LNAV is not activated. The LNAV only activated when i’m airborne.

Why & how?

Your take off is not aligned with the first waypoint

I think you have to be +- 5 degrees of the flight path and waypoint for it to illuminate

Hey there, @wija1549. @Majorlag9496 is correct regarding arming LNAV while on the ground. This info is taken from page 0.00.32 in the PMDG Introduction PDF file:

• To arm LNAV while on the ground: The first waypoint in your flight plan must be within 5 degrees of the departure runway course.
• To arm LNAV in flight: Requires a valid interception point for active leg, interception angle less than 90 degrees OR within 3 miles cross tracks error OR within 3 miles from active. LNAV will stay armed until interception."
