Cheers guess I missed him
It will be on YouTube soon.
I will say, and I have been their long customer since p3d v2. They have the most unfriendly forum of all flight sim forums, customer is always wrong, they had and they still have their forum dogs who would instantly reply to any complaint or constructive criticism (do these people ever sleep???) blaming the user. Holy PMDG is never wrong.
I love their planes, I really do, but they are not the best. Period.
Don’t forget your real name too for getting support.
Sound realy good today about the DC6 for Marketplace - no difference between the DC-6 when you buy direct from PMDG or on the Marketplace (ok, some less liveries on xbox). But the rest of the feature set is same same.
I don’t blame you, I saw how they flamed you on their forum when you were commenting about something you didn’t like on the DC-3. I’ve never seen anyone else catch so much grief on that forum and IMO you were being perfectly polite.
I’ll probably get the 737 though, I’m happy with the DC-6 and will likely love the 737.
I agree with everything you say. Especially the bad performance in the DC6.
It seems that every developer was able to optimize their code in a way, to profit from the changes in SU5, except PMDG.
Yet they are blaming Asobo for their inability to do the same optimizations for their aircraft, which is a shame because the same may happen with their 737.
Maybe the way they coded the DC6 was not very standard and whatever Asobo did in SU5 didn’t apply to them… But then instead of blaming Asobo they should review their code or just say that won’t work for the DC6.
They even said the DC6 had complex dials and gauges as an excuse for the performance… that sounded really like an excuse.
Still they might make a very good 737.
The bare amount of nonsense in this post left me in awe
For those of you wondering, I seem to recall they intended to release the plane with a co-pilot similar to the one in the DC6, I might be wrong though
I asked Robert about an AFE for the 737 and he said the follwoing
LOL. Just blatantly false.
Oh it seems I acutally remembered the info from reading the reply to your post what a coincidence hahaha
What a stunner!
I WANT IT NOW PLEASE !!!
Looks so good
Looks to me like they’re about to make an announcement. Fingers crossed.
I think we’ll be seeing the 737 coming out around this time next month. PMDG also updated their facebook page to display the DC6 around one month before its release
Didnt we have the dc6 video’s also around that time ?
I think Robert wasn’t sure if he’ll produce tutorial video like for the DC-6.
The 737 is much more common and many people know it already. Additionally there are tons of in depth tutorials from real 737 pilots already. I would recommend to watch flightdeck2sim to learn how to fly the 737.
I hope that there will be some showcase videos though.
