If you forego gas for a day, that’ll save you about $100!
Re parking brakes on v3.0.31 (-700)
Just figured this out by playing around with the toe and parking brakes with the buttons on my HOTAS (no pedals) and it looks like-
TO ENGAGE PARKING BRAKE
TO DISENGAGE PARKING BRAKE
If you want to practice this operation I suggest also turning the auto brakes off too as they can sometimes sneakily turn on confusing matters.
If you don’t do any of this and just toggle parking brake switch then you may well end up just stuck stationary on the tarmac.
Confusing or what?
LOL! Sounds like me indeed, except I haven’t got it yet, but this is just because I literally don’t have the money. So I’m gonna see how long I’ll hold off after I get paid.
Hi Friends, I cant access the PMDG website. I go here:
…and then i get what you see in the screenshot.
I posted something similar in a recent, previous post, but I’m still having problems…
I would just like to purchase the 600 variant.
Please help.

Which YouTube video did you watch? Which 736 has been featured in there?
With no doubt, there are (where) some of them flying around with a Business Class. However the 736 cabin in general is not different to the cabin of any other 737NG, with the typical 3-3 layout.
This is what happens on my iPhone when I click on the link you provided and also when I click on the link that Robert Rendazzo provided in the PMDG forum; I get a download… Please see the screenshot
Are you being serious? You won’t buy it because you are not happy with the screws in a place where nobody even looks. Strange.
Yes, the short field package is in there. Haven’t tested yet if it makes a difference, but I would assume so.
Yes it is not a texture bug - that´s why I am unfortunately not able to fix it.
I have tried but failed, because I cannot remove 3D polygon objects from the cockpit:

This is how it looks like on the co-pilot side, it is perfect:
This is how it looks like when I look down at my pilot rudder pedals, with the screws half-way clipping through the cockpit walls:
The reason not to buy is not that ridiculous when comparing it to a Ferrari or Lamborghini purchase. The car salesman could tell me “this huge scratch on the bonnet changes nothing, it drives anyway!” but I am still not taking it and buy a different brand.
I don´t pay 100$ for the Boeing-737-series as long as these screws are not fixed and in line but because this will probably never be fixed (I already discussed this topic in the PMDG forum) I have to wait for the next PMDG release and enjoy the wonderful Fenix in the meantime.
wow, how did you even find these screws?? Where do you position your camera while flying? xD
Fenix has the prosim’s VNAV system (in fact, the entire FMS). They adapted it to msfs, so they didn’t develop any VNAV (or FMS) system and, of course, they aren’t developing any update. They only are adpating it better.
For the other hand, PMDG developed their own system, and now they are improving it. Is a big difference when you alredy have the FMS done and only have to adapt it. For that reason we can’t compare both sistems and the work done for one or another. Simply is different.
I found another reason to wait for 800.
600=$35 One variant=$35
700=$70 Three variants=$70 divided by 3=$23.3
800=$75 ?
Still not going to buy the 600 even at the reduced rate. It’s a weid call on pricing though. Strange marketing strategy too.
700 - buy a fully featured 737 aircraft for $75 ($69sale)
600 - buy a fully featured 737 aircraft (largely the same as the 700 with no previous purchase req) for $35
800 - buy a fully featured 737 aircraft (largely the same as the 6/700 with no previous purchase req) for $75??? (because of model demand?)
900 -
The whole thing would make way more sense for one base price of $75($69 sale) and variant price of $25 each after the base purchase.
Maybe the marketing strategy is create as many users by selling the 600 cheap then suck them into all paying full $75($69 sale) for the 800? Who knows, it’s just weird though.
The PMDG website is working just fine for me, no issues on my end.
It’s an excellent business strategy which can maximise profit margins.
Personally, I actually prefer the old system (still used for P3D) with the base packs and expansions. But that’s because I want multiple variants. For those who only want one variant (or maybe even the -600 and -700), it’s cheaper to have individual models. For those who want multiple variants (like myself), it’s more expensive, and the system with expansion packs is cheaper.
Whilst yes, I am annoyed that the -800 wasn’t the first to release, it’s an excellent business strategy from PMDG.
Note that what I put is a personal reflection, the price of the 600 for $35 is very good, and it can be very good for people who cannot pay a lot of money and have a large Boeing plane
No, it’s a weird reason to not buy it. Sorry but, it is. If you simply don’t like Boeing aircraft then that’s fair enough.
And you sound a bit like someone who’s paid to extoll the virtues of the Fenix at every opportunity (we get it, it’s great. I own it, and agree). There’s an Aerosoft shill (in my opinion) that lurks on here, and at every opportunity tells you how fantastically amazing one of their aircraft is, and it’s tiresome. Don’t be that guy/gal. I’m sure you’re better than that.
