Thanks for that info. I had already suspected that and in my case it is the Zinertec Aircraft Lighting mod. This mod really looks fantastic on aircraft and traffic that use Asobo default lights and there never used to be issues with PMDG aircraft until SU6. The 777 does NOT have this issue - it is only the 737. The only other aircraft adversely affected, is the Inibuilds A300-600 (at least in my personal hangar - here landing and taxi lights to not light up at all.)
I guess the issue is, that some light textures in the PMDG uses default textures that were modified.
Why the issue of the wing lights can be rectified by cycling the position lights, however remains a mystery and does not make any sense.
Zinertec has just pushed an update to the Marketplace, but it does not resolve this issue. I guess I will contact their support to make them aware and hope they can either fix the conflicting textures or replace the default PMDG lights with different a different options.
I think you missed the point. The problem lies with the Zinertec lights mod modifying some default light textures. I thought I expressed that in a comprehensive manner above.

Essentially he would like to know if any third-party developer would consider making a Ryanair Comunitat Valencia livery for the PMDG 737 to be made available on the marketplace?
Unfortunately, PMDG does not permit the creation of liveries for their products for sale on the Marketplace and they have more-or-less said no additional liveries are planned for their products on the Marketplace which arenāt already there at this time.
I assume your son is using the sim on an Xbox console or cloud device?
