It took them a year to implement a simple EFB and never delivered high detail cabin for 737 they promised. PMDG will probably be the last developer that brings their old addons to FS2024.
If they make a better 737NG why not.
Clearly thereâs a lot of typical internet nonsense floating around. Hereâs this weekendâs updates (plural) straight from the source.
A lot of words, but also a lot of insight into what theyâre facing and how they plan to address the challenges.
Because of price, their modest probably will be 30-50⏠per aircraft/variant.
I have 3 variants (700, 800 and 900).
And it is not modest price, here where I live and earn money.
And my opinion that we already paid high price for 737NG. Basically all variants are the same, by that I mean at systems, FMC etc, difference is in lenght/weigh. They could put the price for one variant and other be just a small charge to pay work needed to make different model and other changes.
Like TFDi, PAX or CRG variant were 75⏠(as I can remember). If you bought PAX and want to buy CRG, you only pay 10⏠for differences.
Then feel free to keep flying them in MSFS2020. Absolutely nothing preventing you from doing that!
That is exactly what I am doing, but people keep talking about planes not working in 2024.
I am flying them in 2020, but until when?
FS2020 since it is a online service, it wonât be forever.
And it is easy for you who live in countries where 50⏠is small price.
According to Microsoft, definitely by the end of 2028
You should be very careful about generalities like that. Some countries you seem to be referring to have hundreds of million people, and everyoneâs circumstances are different.
But the point remains: you bought the 737 for FS2020, where it still works and will continue to work until MS pulls the plug. Whenever that happens, take it up with Microsoft.
Wow âŠ. There will be a larger fee for the 737 ⊠need to brought up to standards according pmdg
Including the INTERIOR zz so i did pay for a non standard interior ⊠and now suddenly it is used as excuse to pay more for the 202; version with interior ?
I want a 737 PLANE AND COCKPIT. I do not care about an interior for extra cost !
Maybe they spent to much time developing their EFB which is as I see it, now obsolete in MSFS 2024 since the new sim has a built in EFB which is much better. My recommendation to them would be to implement their stuff in the new EFB instead.
Agree, I do not need super high quality cabin.
I need cockpit, I do play this to be a passenger, but pilot.
Does it matter what you need or not? A high quality cabin was promised to be added at later stage, it was listed on the product page. Your preferences are irrelevant in this case.
Was it said we should be paying for that âin a later stage â ?
No, it was back when first B737 was released in 2022.
If anyone thinks I made it up this is webarchive from 09.05.2022. The current website does not show this entry anymore.
Sooooooo now we need to pay for it ⊠people say â i do not care about a cabinâ
And that is completely justified !!!
Especially since it was all promised
Horrible money grabbing
Hello, folks.
Still not updates for PMDG 737 via Marketplace.
How could this be still possible? Why MS is not releasing the update for marketplace buys?
This was already covered by PMDG.
These updates brought the Marketplace intake version up to build 3.00.0108. We are going to issue a micro-update to our direct sales customers via PMDG Operations Center next week in order to keep all sides one the same version of the simulation.
Marketplace users have been asking âwhen is the 737 going to get updated for us?â The answer, as always is: We donât control the intake process, nor the intake speed. A reasonable person can look at what is happening at MS right now and accurately ascertain that the workload at Microsoft is sky-high with the transition to MSFS2024. I am not going to start ringing bells over there, as the team we work with at Marketplace are good, hard-working people who already get treated roughly by the community for things that arenât truly their fault. MS will release that update to MSFS2020 users just as soon as they get it through the intake process, whatever that process might be right now.
One additional note: Thanksgiving week here in the USA is generally a week-long holiday for most employers. MS does not issue updates during that week, so I suspect the earliest update cycle will be the following thursday 05DEC24.
Having problems with EFB in MSFS2020 since I let my Navigraph subscription expire - I understood the maps would continue to work just without the Navigraph underlay, but with with Openmap underlays
but
a, the maps are blank with just the flightplan displayed
b, the maps continually zoom out to maximum with no input from me
???
This leads to the question of what version airac database is on FMC if we donât update through the Navigraph paywall and if that is same airac as on the free simbrief. Once the new update drops ofc.
Upto now some RNP waypoints and intersections on simbrief flightplan had different names than on the
up to date flight planner on MSFS.
