PMDG 777 - How to display ATIS and ACARS message on EICAS?

Hi all,

I find people can view ATIS information on the EICAS, but on my end it only display on the Lower middle screen. Is it a bug for something i need to set?

Looks like you’re in the correct place on the lower EICAS display there. If you click within the “NEW MESSAGES” tab on the bottom right of the lower EICAS menu, does that let you select the full ATIS message? Or within the REVIEW sub menu you currently have selected? I think you can simply click on the message to bring it up in full on the lower EICAS, but I’d need to double-check!

Yea I’m able to review the messages. But its not popping up on the upper EICAS

This isn’t a bug and is normal as per the real aircraft. Messages like this are designed to be read on the lower EICAS display, leaving the upper EICAS display free for the critical information for your engines during flight etc.

You may be able to look at some of the switches on the main instrument panel that switch the screens around to see if you can get the lower EICAS display onto the upper EICAS, but this would only normally be done in the event of a display failure.

Yea, I guess its what it is. For CPDLC information from Vatsim ACARS it got displayed on there, but the ATIS aren’t. They probably catagorized the ATIS as ‘non-important’ message. Thanks for your help!
