No, it isn’t at all. Every PC is entirely different form the next.
I did this. But once again it is on SU4.
The 777 runs smooth on my hardware. The only thing is that I have a stutter everytime I switch from forward to FMC view ( or viceversa ) it doesn’t happen in other aircraft and it’s consistent. I’m waiting for SU4 to be released and see if something is fixed otherwise I will contact PMDG support
Description of the issue:
In the MSFS 2024 SU4 beta I’ve been flying various airliners:
Only on the PMDG I’m getting slight terrain/visual stutters - barely noticeable but still there - a tiny freeze every 4–5 seconds.
It happens during all phases of flight: taxi, takeoff, cruise, descent, landing, and taxi to gate.
My latest tests were done with an almost clean Community folder - the only add-on installed was PMDG 777-300ER for testing purposes. When testing and trying to reproduce the issue, I’m not running SpadNext or any similar software. It’s only MSFS 2024 and, in this case, PMDG 777-300 version 2.4.130
I also noticed something in the PMDG logs: entries like
This exact log line appears 15 times per minute, meaning it logs at a steady 4-second interval - matching the stutters I’m seeing.
Everything that can be downloaded and installed locally is already downloaded and installed.

Thanks, Mathijs.
I’m pretty sure PMDG support will just tell me they don’t officially support SU4 beta so I’d rather not bother them with this for now.
The good news is that I found a workaround on my end - the stuttering disappears as long as the Weight & Balance page is open on both the left and right tablet.
PMDG 777-300ER L and R tablet
I’ll check in my spare time if the same workaround also works with the 777-200ER.
