Luckily the livery issue doesn’t affect me, but what I don’t understand is that the Marketplace does seem to have some kind of way to offer products for free. For example there are several aircraft and sceneries that offered free upgrades to FS2024 versions with big yellow “FREE“ banners accompanying the thumbnail. Is this option not available for livery packs?
That is indeed the issue.
It all seems highly unethical of Microsoft given we were all told in the run up to the 2024 release that developers will be able to choose whether or not to charge for an upgrade. Here you are not wanting to charge and yet Microsoft is forcing your hand? Really not on. As someone who has bought every livery pack for the 77W, 77F and 772, this will mean another reasonable investment for something I have already bought.
Don’t get me wrong, I have campaigned for the liveries to be released knowing I would have to pay again as I’d much rather have the liveries than not… but seriously, shame on Microsoft.
Can I ask, will the livery packs be a duplicate of the existing packs or are we likely to see any new additions?
If we have to redo and resell them, we will look at the selection of liveries again. We believe a ‘regional’ selection might be a better approach. So European carriers, American, Asian etc.

Since i am unable to enter the forum and use that channel and i don’t know what prevents me from doing it, i am forced to write here my reports.
I wonder why PMDG 777-300ER won’t show on FMC in DEPT/ARR page the ILS approaches in Palermo Punta Raisi (LICJ) thoug that sicilian airport has them (ILS25 and ILS07 to mention two…) and i can tell you it since they were showed on everyelse plane inused before mastering your product.
I also have read on Google that LICJ Punta Raisi Airport is not affordable for Boeing 747 or A380, but can handle 777-300ER and ayelse 777 family planes and is also among the most important international airports in Italy.
The widebody Triple Seven is the only one which doesn’t recognize, ordetect or whatever else it.
Yesterday i flew from Halifax (CYHZ) to Palermo on it and i had to perform manually the final landing, since others approaches (LOC, VOR, RNAV…) don’t allow me to use LOC/APP button (it activates itself if i push it, but there is no glideslope diamond since it is usable only with ILS approaches.
I think that is a thing regarding the 777-300ER.
Could it eventually be a possible fix on this?

Msfs2020, Xbox Series X last build 1.38.9.0 SU16.
I have already dropped a mail at the address you provided me about ten days/two weeks ago, but still no answer about, and thus i resent it for it, all regarding the issues i described in it mentioned also my username, mail and my password for entering the channel.
Also added that when i install third partiy planes, the 777-300ER cockpit commands freeze on inputting departure ICAO airport/route request on related pages on FMC.
I would ask you if you could please read the mail i sent in case you did not do it already.

Dear Bruno, I could not find any email from you. Have you tried using the standard support options?
- If you are using Operation Center v3, use the support option in that, It’s super easy.
If you are not used PCv3, use the options on support.pmdg.com.
I am sure we can offer some useful suggestions for this issue.

Will the 2020 xbox version of the 777 receive any ne2 updates or is 116 the last version?
There is an update for the Xbox version in the pipeline, just as texture packs.

I’ve not stayed up to date with the 777 on MSFS 2024, I just installed the free upgrade pack, do the livery packs not work yet?
For the Xbox version they are not yet available. They are being sent to Microsoft, though, and it should not take too long to get this unfortunate issue behind us. For the Windows version, there are 60+ liveries available via Operation Center V3. Many of those are verified, meaning the livery comes with a configuration that sets up the aircraft as flown by the airline.

There is a realistic equipment list matrix for the 737 available for download on the pmdg website. Will something similar be made for the 777?
