I have spent many hours searching for a way to get the throttles working on the PMDG DC-6. Using an X56 HOTAS and have spad,next which works fine for every other aircraft. Desperate to get this working, had for ages but did not have a computer powerful enough to use it., now I have and am anxious to get her flying. Any help greatly appreciated!!

There was a snippet on SPAD.neXt by helge000 for throttle on X56 for DC6, maybe start there, could be others also.
I am using the following events:
THROTTLE1_AXIS_SET_EX1
THROTTLE2_AXIS_SET_EX1
THROTTLE3_AXIS_SET_EX1
THROTTLE4_AXIS_SET_EX1
All with values min at -16383 and max at 16383.

Recommend you remove spad.next. It works fine for me without spad.next. Which has been known to screw up many things
Sorry for delay in responding, an overdose of frustration with the DC6 has given me a break from the problem. No, I have tried that solution without success but I do appreciate your attempt to assist. I love the DC6 but have decided to retire it for now, maybe when FS2024 emergies i will try again.
