Can I do this if I bought in the MP? Ie the verification.
I bought the DC6and the liveries in MP and have them downloaded now.

Is a marketplace purchase maybe handled differently by the OC3 tool? This would be quite sad because to verify the installation (check for corrupted files) is quite an important feature I wouldn‘t miss.

I hope you don‘t imply that I didn‘t pay for it. I did pay €66 and can gladly show you the confirmation e-mail with the ordering number I got from Microsoft. I can also give you the e-mail address I used to register with PMDG and the e-mail address that I use for simming in MSFS 2024 and the marketplace.

I’m waiting too, but I really don’t hope PMDG is not about to accuse us valid marketplace buyers of doing such criminal things. Somehow my belly is telling me that TheFalconOne’s (Mathij’s) comment is going in such a direction. I bought it from the marketplace of course, because this is the only place that allows me to use my favorite payment method. I’m still using cash to pay and the marketplace allows me to use codes I bought from the supermarket using real money.

Quite sad Microsoft doesn‘t lists the exact name of the purchased item. Gosh, my mental health is down again.

Please don’t panic. If you bought it in the MP, it is all legal. I bought mine there too.

Not all all… not at all !

But OC3 indeed can not verify files installed by the marketplace because they are encrypted. The marketplace installer, however. checks files when they are installed, so I seriously doubt the files are not correct.

I suggest you contact support (easy via OC3) and see if they have any suggestions.

I am really sorry you would think that. Did not even occur to me. Why would it? We have tens of thousands of Marketplace customers who have a PMDG OC3 account, absolutely standard. We support those as far as Microsoft allows us to do.
