Perfect ! Thank you !
hahaha didnāt see that. Corrected.
Thanks for all of your work. This is great!
For me, if itās present in the real GNS530, Iād also like it to be in the SIM530, as I crave realism above all else. Even if itās something I think can be improved upon or donāt particularly care for.
Make it as absolutely real as the SDK and whatever other tools you use to program it allow.
If I want changes to the real thing, Iāll bring it up with Garmin, but considering they havenāt gotten a dime from me in probably 15-20 years give or take, Iām not sure how much theyāll care about my requests⦠
What is your MODās version?
Since v1.0.6, the first declutter level hides completely the roads and the airspaces.
Since v1.0.6, the airspaces are not displayed above range 50.
From v1.0.9, airspace lines are thinner.
Yep, now using MOD 1.0.9, everything fine! Thanks a lot. When an update of MSFS is coming through, I normally delete the Community content and sometimes forget to put it back
But it works super now, also with the RealSimGear 530, itās very enjoying to fly! (now waiting for Mooney M20R update from Carenado)
Possibly a dumb questionā¦
Other than the Mooney, do other aircraft use this device?
Just dropped by to say that @ScorpionFilm422 is doing amazing work and to thank for that. Spectacular!! I wish Asobo was paying you for doing this because they cannot do it properly.
For now, only the standard MSFS planes like C172, Diamond DA40 and I think the Citation Longitude, but hopefully a lot of addon aircraft to come, like some study level 172s.
For now the Mooney is the only addon with 530 installed.
Holy Cow!! VNAV!! Just the other day I was marveling at your 530 mod and how itās so much like the real 530. I was thinking VNAV would be awesome but that has to be a nightmare to code - and in .js no less. And now itās here! How far are you planning to take VNAV? I think most people use it with āTarget Altitude Aboveā. In the real 530/430s they default fill in the last waypoint in the flight plan. I use this all the time in the real plane as a backup to remind me when to start a descent if Iām VFR. Great work!!! Thanks!!!
Longitude uses a G5000 system.
Yes VNAV is a very useful feature, especially for the TOD.
FINALLY a GNS530 that can actually load a flight plan! Thanks @ScorpionFilm422!!
OK, I have played around with the GNS530 for several days now and cant seem to get the approach or the VNAV to work.
Can someone with more experience using this mod do a video and share so others like me can enjoy this as much as others seem to be.
Using it with the Ovation.
Thanks.
Can you describe what issue you are having? If you want to see how the RW one works you could check out this free trainer and the docs that come with it. https://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=3531
jccat3215 I will watch the video you linked. I can do general navigation, can seem to get approaches to lock on, and the VNav seems to do nothing.
Sorry not a video, I will load the trainer and play around with it.
Play around with the VNAV in the GNS trainer and I think youāll realize how woeful the āVNAVā function is. As far as I can tell it just calculates the required descent rate based on the variables you input. I will admit I havenāt gotten to play around with the mod but Iāve been watching itās development closely. I hope to be able to use it once the Carenado Mooney is fixed.
Currently working on that
They still havenāt patched the Mooney? Ughā¦Carenado strikes again. Money in pocket, no need to hurry, as usual.
You probably want to do some reading before casting aspersions.
