This is just “SO WRONG” … Asobo should provide a detailed Change Log.
Not that most Users need that, but for anyone developing any MSFS product, its a long “Quest Adventure game” to try to figure out what did and did not get changed … which is a total waste of developer’s time & effort.
The Excellent & professional change logs, often produced by amateur Modders, puts to shame those produced by the “Professional” Asobo team…
They did, on the forum at least (haven’t fired up MSFS yet)

Is this mod also improving the GNS430 ? Because the Pipistrel Virus is giving me a constant LOW VOLTS yellow message in the MSG panel of the GNS430 even when everything electrical that should be off, is.

Spawning in the M20, cold and dark, and the 530 shows this:
It’s like its part way through booting.
If I power the avionics, then off, it does fully turn off.
The Low Voltage message is due a fault in the Plane’s wiring
Electrical battery Voltage = 12
Electrical battery Bus Voltage = 12
Electrical HOT battery Bus Voltage = 0
Electrical Avionics Bus Voltage = 0 <<<<<<<< The Issue
Looks like the French did not wire it correctly to the Italian schematics ??
Would be just a simple “re-wiring” fix in the .cfg file if only the .cfg file was not hidden in a .fsarchive DRM protection file

If you turn on the MASTER (with Avionics off), the Garmin wakes up with its INIT screen, but stays on that screen for ever, till you turn on the Avionics.
I would say the wiring is really messed up in the system.cfg file ?

Yup it’s a shame these planes are encrypted. Anyway, I could simply ignore the warning, but do you think there is a chance my battery is slowly getting empty and I might have a problem in a long flight ? Oh I guess I could simply disable the mod when planning to fly the Virus, the GNS is only a secondary GPS in it anyway.
First of all, thanks for all your work on this, it is incredible. Its funny you added a config file, i was spending some time the other day really playing around with various screens and settings and thought, “wow it would be cool if there was some way to save a config.”
Would it be possible to add things to the config such as
Setting COM Spacing from 8.33 to 25
On map page 2 (i think?) choosing to show the information boxes on the right
On any of the map pages, choose which fields to show
It would probably be difficult/impossible to save the current state, but being able to update a config file and have it the way we wanted would be awesome
Are these all things you can do on a real GNS530?
The weather radar and NEXRAD are not working for me. Do I have to copy the config.json file to the main mod folder or should it stay inside the config folder? I tried both ways and doesn’t work. I press the right knob button when I’m on the second NAV screen and nothing happens.
And yes, I changed inside the file the OFF to ON on the radar and edited the config file to be named config.json.
What am I missing?
The 1st one that can figure out how to SAVE a config in js, (without possibly using WASM) will get the Grand Prize !!

version 1.0.18. NEXRAD is working, I had it disabled in the menu. But the radar doesn’t show up.
What do you have in the Config/pms50-gns530 directory ?
