Once a page is displayed, you can press the “Change Fields” button in the map menu to set the fields for the current page. What variable is used to change fields? I would like to map a button for this as the click spot is a difficult target with the mouse.
Just started using this great addon but I’m a bit confused about how pop out works. The panel version works OK, however when trying to use the native GTN750 display in Black Square TBM850 (with or without WTT mode), clicking alt-right and then the magnifying glass does nothing.
Does pop out work only for the panel version? Or is it some TBM850 issue? I vaguely remember it was working with A2A Comanche and Popout panel manager addon, but not sure (will try it later).
update: nope, it doesn’t pop out in Comanche either
Then it works perfectly fine but I don’t want to use the game tool bar (aka. panel version) because it doesn’t sync with what I see in the aircraft display itself. It’s as if I have 2 different 750’s doing different things (one in the aircraft and one on my external screen), or at least that’s my understanding.
Every other TBM display can be popped out, except GTN 750.
Unless there’s a way to sync between the 2 displays?
Thanks. Mine (latest version) doesn’t pop out no matter what I try in the latest versions of TBM850, Comanche or PA Arrow III. Might be conflicting with some other addon, dunno. Now that I know it’s feasible, I’ll run some tests.
So it did work once upon a time in the Comanche and I had forgotten it was positioned to a secondary screen, which I hadn’t reconnected for months. But MSFS doesn’t seem to care. It’ll still try to restore the panel’s original position to coordinates that no longer exist so it would pop out GTN750 somewhere outside the borders of my primary (and only) screen.
All good now. I’m off to buy the premium version of this fantastic addon.
Sorry if this has been asked before, but I was tidying up my community folder, and I noticed I still have the WT instruments GNS compatibility fix (v1.1.8).
Do we still need it?
At the bottom of the GTN750 screen there is this box. I know that clicking on it takes you to the WP editor, but what are the markings for?
Sorry for the stupid question, I’ve not long upgraded to the pro version and now I’m in the process of learning the ins and out of it.
The upper part displays the current leg and the next waypoint and the lower part is a CDI indicator (Course Deviation Indicator). It shows you the deviation from the current leg track.
