It works in Career Mode no problem - at least in the Carenado T210.
It is a pity the sim does not remember your avionics choice in the EFB - every time you load into the sim it defaults to the GNS and you have to switch to the GTN every time…
This is not a sim issue but a Carenado issue. They could easily change that.
