I do find the idea that because people already paid Microsoft for the sim, any third party developers should provide content for free or very cheaply rather odd.
It is like telling the car audio guy that you already paid a fortune to Ford for your 2020 Ford Mustang so he should therefore install your new Alpine stereo system for free.
The basic version of this mod is free and is a perfectly fine option for people that do not want to pay extra.
I will gladly pay for this excellent software, I think it’s cheap, but it’s been a long time since I was a student, I would probably have been less happy with the price then.
I’m happy to pay the initial annual charge, and will probably buy-in to lifetime next year. I look at it as supporting a dev who is doing great work for the sim … heck, I would have paid 30 bucks for the GNS530/430 alone, but shhhh, don’t tell @ScorpionFilm422 that …
I’m not able to turn the morse code on any aircraft (even those with no GTN). Maybe an issue since update 4?
It was working before.
Anyone else have the issue?
Seems to work only on nav2 but not on nav1
Ok this is an issue with the JF arrow. The morse code on nav1 is not working and it blocks that for any aircraft you then try to select without exiting the sim.
@BMW969 Not in my Mooney. Need to click + & - on the lower left of the map. Map can be dragged by the mouse though in any direction. Not sure with other birds.
Unfortunately, this is not working today because the mouse wheel is used at kernel level to zoom into the cockpit so the wheel events are not propagated on our side.
Not on our side. Maybe someone already did that by a simconnect event?
Anyway, the map code has a wheel option but the events are blocked for now by the sim. This was working before. Maybe we just have to wait for Asobo to unblock that.
