POI customization

I just want to know if it is possible to customize more the Points of Interest (POI) to make them a bit less intrusive in the visuals. I fly using VFRmap (with a notebook showing me the entire map), so I know perfectly where I am when in the air.

I usually fly activating POI only to show citys, and I would prefer not to show neither the blue icon nor the distance to the city, just only the name of the city. I would also like to remove the vertical line and the little dot below the name of the city. I want to see nothing but the name of the city when I am close, and nothing else.

Another interesting thing would be to have a toggle key to show/hide the POIs.

I don’t know of a way to alter the POI markers but here is a mod that will make them smaller and less intrusive.

I used that mod in the past (a simple but great mod for immersion), but unfortunately it stopped working months ago because of a sim update.

There are hundreds of keys that I never use in this sim, and for any reason the POI toggle key is not present among them.
