I figure they must be patches of bug fixes but always useful to know what updaes are for.

Oh wait, you’re on 2020 - those are the monthly AIRAC updates. No notes required for those. Anything that actually updates the client version gets notes.

FYI, we always post in Official Microsoft Flight Simulator > News & Announcements every time we release the monthly navdata update.

Any news when will 2020 get updated airport database too?
Any chance of adding them to the Release Notes within the product to save trying to find info from the forum?

So ATR, Antonov An-2 and Savoia Marchetti S.55 got updates in 2020 too. Great!

As seen in the fsexpo keynote, given the drama and remediations Asobo is needing to do with su5 /5.1 beta of 2024, 2020 su17 is now pushed back to September. Given the disregard going on contempt for the 2020 sim by Asobo at this point (Jorg mentioned literally everything else on the roadmap slide at fsexpo and after the disgraceful “not sure if anyone is still following this” comment in the last Asobo livestream). I am inclined to think Jorg will just tell the team to chuck a su17 name on some small and useless change and push it out. Be surprised if they even bother to beta it.
So much lost since this time last year in terms of the visual experience that 2020 had reached until su15, through the original (pre 2024 aligned) maps or more so via 3rd party high res aerials support, both of which have been torn away so dramatically.
They have gone scorched earth on any area that is not TIN mapped (such as new Australia and USA updates), and while I think Seb and his team’s works on the physics etc is great steps, this seems to be at cost of ever decreasing visual experience to cater for the performance impacts these changes bring.
IMO the creative / visual / artistic vision Asobo once had is diminishing by the day..

Its a shame we are forced in to the updates. It should be our choice if we want to install the SUs. I would love to be able to roll back, prior to the scenery change.
