Once it started loading the game for me, it didn’t take any longer than normal, maybe even a touch faster. But before it got to that point, I was given a “press any key to start” prompt that I don’t recall seeing before. This was followed by a ‘Welcome back’ screen with my Xbox ID that I also had to click through. Only then did the sim begin loading as normal.
And my last shutdown was a clean one, so it’s not the ‘safe startup’ screen that you can get when starting up again after a CTD.
It only happened once, though. After exiting and starting the beta up again, the extra “press any key to start” prompt didn’t appear again, and loading proceeded as normal.
I’ve noticed a problem when I started using the A320 v2 again, which I hadn’t used since SU15, and I don’t know if it’s a widespread issue or just mine.
When I power on the Master APU and then press Start, the APU starts normally, but when I try to shut it down from the Master APU, the power button turns off, but the Start button stays lit with the green text “Avail,” even when there’s no fuel. This never happened to me before I launched the aircraft.
Okay at least some CTD issues are now fixed. Let’s move to another base content bug fixes and enhancement. Remember Niagara Falls, river Thames, pink textures, ugly Bing Maps, and whatever I don’t recall how much it is. Ah yeah where is the World Hub? It’s been years now since it was closed. 2024 also needs refinement on ground texture and seasons.
