Sale is ending, yes. SU5 has no date yet. We might learn more this afternoon in twitch.
That would be Microsoft, not Asobo.
Might be worth asking that questing during todayās dev stream. Usually Jayne does a great job of spotting interesting questions in chat.
I would love to ask it today, but I have other obligations at the same time so if anyone else happens to be on, that would be amazing if you could ask for me.
ISSUE DESCRIPTION
Description of the issue: When viewing the list of products in the store, the Kodiak 100 by Simwork Studio shows āUpgradedā. I have not upgraded and do have the option to upgrade, so I think this is a typo and should say āUpgradeā:
On the product page itself, the right grammar is used, so itās only on the catalogue tile:

Probably a design choice as one could argue the aircraft itself is upgraded, you just donāt own the upgrade yet.
So, uh, at what point will these cease to say āNewā? What is the criterion for this?
It kind of bugs after multiple days and even having flown them. This was never necessary for me in the past. I know what I bought/upgraded. I know what I own.
When I open a drawer, my newest clothing doesnāt say āNewā on it. I already know this.
Iāve been trying to track this down as well - I canāt tell if it moves on after X number of sim sessions or after X number of uses of the aircraft. I think itās number of sim sessions but need to test more. Must be MSā favorite kind of testing as it requires me to buy more from the Marketplace ![]()
I use MSFS with a 55ā TV as my monitor with my face at about the same distance it would be from the instrument panel in a cockpit. It allows me to see the instrument panel at almost life size proportions. In the Marketplace UI, I appreciate that youāve changed the interface so the screen size images that developers painstakingly create to show off their products isnāt covered up any more by the description with no way to hide the description to look at the images. The images arenāt full screen anymore, but, at least theyāre big enough to look at now. Those little mini icons under the description that you couldnāt expand were too small even on a 55ā TV.
However, I still find the UI unusable. When will we get the ability to scale the UI so the items in it are reasonable size and the text isnāt absolutely massive? I canāt. I just canāt use this interface. Thereās barely any useful information on it, and itās really hard to get an understanding of all the choices that are available.
Imagine this image 48ā wide. Thereās barely any information on it. It could be sooooo much more useful if the interface scaled at the size of the screen. The smallest text is 1/2 an inch tall, and thatās the smallest I can make it and I have no ability to make it smaller and more readable for me. I understand you have to also design it for 12ā monitors, and even worse, phones, but this is ridiculous how little information you can see at any one time on a 55ā TV monitor. Maybe it makes sense if I were 12 ft or 20 ft from the screen, but, Iām 18ā, and I find this interface unusable. It makes me have zero desire to bother browsing for anything I might want to purchase. Give me the ability to enter the size of my screen and control the size of text and images appropriately. I should be able to see 5 rows or more of items when I get into scrolling through images. I do at least appreciate the fact that the icons are now preloaded before they scroll into the window, unlike in 2020 when the top row and sometimes bottom 2 rows were empty even though I could see them.
Please put some effort into the design to work with larger formats, since currently itās clearly designed to be seen on a mobile phone screen, which, yeah, this would look great on my phone. At the same time, I can clearly see how to manage making this same design work in a larger format with a lot more information available. Donāt get me wrong, I can also see their being too much information. But right now, itās way at the other end.
Unless thereās some hidden criteria that I hit without knowing it it should just take a few days. I bought a couple items fairly recently, well on the last sale, and they have disappeared from new
Please add the msfs-2020 or msfs-2024 tag to your post, depending on which sim your wishlist item is about.
its been a while to get the update for the PMDG Boeing777-ER. how can it take?? marketplace must to understand that users things twice to purchased with the marketplace becouse of this. I for example decide not to purchased anymore from marketplace. and seconed reason it expensive to purchased there, can some tell me why its not update until now??
Thanks
Dylan
So, I guess there no longer is any requirements in order to bring an add on into the marketplace? Today brought a $30 737-100 that has zero in sim images, theyāre all AI Generated. The fact that this made it through into the public is just sad and something Iād expect to see in a shady 3rd party website online, not in the in sim marketplace. Guess they didnāt want to AI Generate the āDetailed Cockpitā ![]()
MScenery in disguise? ![]()
I havenāt seen theirs for a while now - I reckon someone has made an alternate name to market under!
I had a similar thought.
Weāll see if the 50+ fake 5 star reviews come in here shortly ![]()
Was this on PS5 or PC? I just had a thought about these being released to the consoles so they exclude LOD and TLOD issues, stutters ets, etc?? What do the cockpits look like - screenshot please ![]()
Dont wanna sound to ungreatfull, cause I like the game on PS5, but had hoped to see something more interesting at the PS5 marketplace by now. Oh well, we wait.
PC. PS only has four products, according to the April 30th, 2026 MSFS Weekly Briefing:
" With the release of Sim Update 5, the highly-requested addition of Creator content on PS5 has begun. As of today, the following products are available:
- B390 from Carenado
- Cessna Citation X from MSFS Presents FlightFX
- HJet HA420 from FlightFX
- Piaggio P.180 Avanti II from FlightFX
We look forward to welcoming additional content on the PS5 Marketplace as we get more creator approvals."
Wow. Just wow. Iām totally baffled⦠this is truly a new low!
MScenery (if itās not them) didnāt at least shy off of showing real images of their subpar products ingame.
But resorting to full fledge Ai image gen?? Of course itās going to not even look like FS2020-24 but makes it looks like much more detailed!! Itās not going to reflect the true textures work by adding tons of weathering details, of reflections that cannot be done ingame etc.
Sorry to say, but how could Microsoft allow this to begin with?? This is trully deceptive marketing practices from this 3rd party dev, in every sense of the words!

Iāve been looking a bit into the 737-100 that has released in the marketplace update and there is something bothering me, itās not the AI, low quality, outright miss advertisement, but the review count
Now pardon the bad image, I took a snippet from the 737-100 thread as I canāt open up my sim at the moment:

Image comes from the 737-100 discussion thread: 737-100 from Scenery Creation released - #74 by ryanbatc
The image shows that All-Time reviews are at 125 and the last 30 days are at 75. This is really weird as the plane has only been out for a couple days, which means that both numbers should be the same. While these high number of reviews would bring suspicious of being botted, but having a large discrepancy between all-time and last 30 days brings into question how the marketplace itself counts reviews. As this difference should be impossible to achieve, even with bots. It would be interesting to see if this happens will other products or if itās a one off issue with this product.
Very interesting point. I donāt know if that info could be added to that thread in the hopes the MS team read it.
