[Polls] Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Sim Update 5.1 Feedback (PC/Xbox/PS5)

Hello,

Performance are subpart for me since SU5 : Sim pauses very frequently since SU5, leading to many issues - #6 by Kidy973

The sim pause and unpause very frequently (several times a minute) and it happens especially with INI A350. The INI teams seems to say that it is cause by poor performance calculation leading to pause the sim until the calculation is complete.

Needless to say that the experience is become really unpleasant in long haul. It also happens with PMDG 777 but only one time.

No such issue here flying the PMDG 737 and 738.

5.1 has been working well for me. No major complaints. I think they have done a great job. I only fly in VR.

Theirs is still some sort of VRAM /RAM problem in this sim.

I was flying perfectly before SU 5.1.

I load into a cold and dark flight - setup, fly the route, land, and then everything is insanely overfilled. I cannot taxi to gate. NEVER a problem before. It’s a CTD every single flight now. Very annoying. Anyone found a fix ? I’ve tried to ditch GSX, GFX, active sky, but it doesn’t seem to matter. I don’t even get the GPU message upon landing, when I pan the camera it just closes the game… I’ve tried 5 different airports, plane ETC…

Dude, your clouds are just a bomb.

I’ve had this in the Fenix A321, FSS Ejets, and the iFly 737-8. Curious if this is being looked at.

For us boomers, is that good or bad?

Of course, this is very good, Detailed rendering makes the sun’s light very realistic.

Did a test flight with the msfs2024 stock 787 yesterday, eddk to Egll, ini airport. Sorry to say but the performance is so much worse than SU4. Stutters, lags and audio cracks all over.
Will try the A350 today, My temporary verdict is that msfs2024 is not suitable for airline flying. Not with this performance. Maybe the fenix is better, but that’s about it.
