It’s just beyond ridicoulos how bad many mountains in Switzerland now look.
Keep in mind: 99% of this was way better before.
Not perfect. But at least there was some data there.
Now it’s just ZERO aerials.
How could this ever be approved and then even called “better” by Jörg Neumann?
Mapping of the aerial not correctly aligned. Was fine before.
Again, like in so many places: Worse mapping than before. And ZERO data in the shadows.
Again, poor mapping accuracy. A general issue of this new “better” aerials.
And then, well, there is this: An insane amount of areas/mountains who just have zero aerials and zero trees.
Keep in mind again: 99% of all this looked WAY better before.
This is just a small selection. There ugly areas exist all over the country since we got the “better” aerials with WU18.
I really hope they will adress this soon, fix it. In Switzerland they could simply use the FREE and commercially usable maps by the Swiss government. In 98% of all areas, they are WAY better. And colourcorrected. And sharper.
