for me its look like im limited by GPU and Mainthtread, in the same Time (display FPS game show that)

however my system is not under stress at all
the above is taken when within the cockpit, any suggestions?
what FPS are you getting?
low settings 42 FPS
ultra between 25 and 30 at best

I did this and it seemed to clean up some of my issues with fps. It also probably helps that Iâm not flying under 10k tooâŠLOL
One thing I had to do was to add another 16gb of ram. It uses at minimum 19 gb, so if you donât have enough ram thereâs going to be a lot of page swapping which will cause a lot of sttutering a freezing.

This worked for me on an i9-9900K, RTX 2080 Ti XC Black and 32 GB of 3600 RAM. Immediate boost of around 5-10 FPS after disabling fuel, checklist, basic controls and objectives.
1440p, gsync on, ultra settings and the latest mega pack and a ton of scenery and airports downloaded.
I had a very similar set up (same CPU and ram) and had horrible stutters and lag like you. Went from 8gb ram to 32gb now itâs as smooth as butter. High settings nets me a smooth stutterless 30+ FPS in an airliner over LA in overcast and cloudy conditions. FPS in less populated areas and non-airliners is around 50 with the occasional drop to about 30, but not stuttering or lag.
RAM is cheap. Upgrade it to 32 (the sim gobbles up more than 16 sometimes). You will see a big difference.

Yeah I just bought another rig. Bought a really cheap rig and just going to swap out all the cheap parts and upgrade everything. Iâm also waiting to get the gtx 3080.
affinity mask? cmon manâŠYou donât need affinity mask in this simâŠthat was for crappy FSX correct? I wonât mention names but watched a Twitch stream recently of a flight simmer & he laughed & mentioned the stupid affinity mask âfixâ that some are trying to use in the new sim.

August 2022 - Not sure if this may help you girls and guys but its yet another variable among thousands to consider when you are troubleshooting ⊠I had a graphics card vendor provided âutilityâ that I installed (dâoh) to allow tweaking, overclocking and presenting the cardâs performance metrics on a dashboard (e.g. fan speeds, GPU temperature etc.) and it was auto-loading minimised when the PC started so I missed it completely.
It must have been developed by monkeys (i.e. shockingly bad programming skills) as with it running the FBW A32NX was running at 9-10 fps (unplayable as it dropped to 5-6fps at certain airports) and with that utilityâs process killed off in the Task Manager, up to 60fps! I wasted weeks scratching my head on this, testing all kinds of unrelated things ⊠now I can play the â â â â game again!
Its the Asus(tek) GPUTweak III app, v1.5.0.0. My PC is an old Gigabyte GA-170X Ultra Gaming mobo running an 4-core Intel Skylake Core i7 6700K oveclocked to 4.4GHz (stock CPU is 4GHz). Memory is 32GB DDR4 and the GPU is an Asus TUF GeForce RTX3080Ti.
