For me this issue is fixed with SU10. Seemingly fully.
Just to make sure, there are various reasons for this stutter at ground. Just to name the two most frequent:
1. Photogrammetry
This usually appeared only on ground, as soon the wheels touched ground and was gone when the wheels left ground (± ~200 feet)
2. VRam overflow on heavy/demanding airports
This also only happenes on ground but here its more vram related. After a few times changing camera on the gate/apron, the vram gets fuller and fuller and at some point overflows and goes to like 5 fps for ~ 10 to 20 seconds (or alt tabbing to empty vram).
What is fixef for me is point 1. There doesnt seem to be any performance loss anymore with PG active, on ground, on those airports that were hit by this before. Like KATL, KJFK, KPDX etc. Basically it happened on most US airports but in EU too.
Ive tested this with up to 170 LOD, it always stayed stuck at 30 fps (where i lock it to). Tested with FENIX and PMDG 737. Cool! Seems to have a bit lowered quality though and the render range is very small… It also only appears fully on maybe 200 feet. But anyway, it doesnt cause 5 fps anyore with anything over 80 or so LOD on my machine.
Point 2 doesnt have improved much. Not by DLSS usage too. If your vram is limited then you are vram limited. Nothing to do, besides lowering settings or dont use the airports that do this (like KSAT, IniB but quite a few others too if one doesnt have more than 8 GB Vram).
