Here is a video I sent to the support team asking me to turn or reflection to see if it help my stutter near the gate, I found out that having terrain level of detail down to a 100 resolves the issue. I had it on 200 before the update with no issues
Everywhere. Turning off photogrammetry was the instant solution. I hope they fix this.
Yes, turning off photogrammetry solved it. From 1-5 fps when panning the camera in the external view to silky smooth 60. Even in areas that do not have photogrammetry nearby within hundreds of kilometers/miles.
Has anyone wrote to Zendesk pointing to photogrammetry? Apparently they do not know what the problem is. We have to give them some clues. I will also test building detail 100.
Same problem for me. Very bad stuttering on the ground. Pretty much unusable. Also noticed stuttering on the cinematic opening sequence. Turned off photgrammetry and problem is gone. Have lodged a ticket on Zendesk. Hopefully there will be a fix soon. Prior to WU6 I had it running beautifully
Same here. Will try turning off photgrammetry. Will also post trouble ticket. Thanks for the help.
Same problem here. Almost un flyable with the ground stutters but after you get in the air, the problem disappears. This along with the terrible night lighting problem deserves a hotfix asap.
No dont do that⦠This was brought upon by the update.
Is there any talk regarding a hotfix for this ground performance issue? Almost a slideshow at the moment⦠trying to figure out what caused this with the last update.
Mine is not too bad but I also get significant stutters on the ground. Turning off photogrammetry does not help! I did not have this issue before WU6. Hope they fix it.
I turned off photogrammetry and I still get, not as bad but itās there⦠first time since release Iāve experienced this.
I had no performance issues until this update. Iām getting the same problem.

But now the devs might not bother investigating the problem, because there is a green āSolvedā tick ā when loads of other people are still having the problem!
Are you in Dev Mode? If so, exit from that and the spinning circle should disappear.
I had this issue, and I can confirm photogrammetry was the problem. Turning it off reduced the amount the framerate dropped significantly, though itās still present.
I submitted ticket 124400 on this issue.
I explain to Asobo that I had a power outage that may have caused my problem with Windows, and that reinstalling Windows probably wont solve the problem for others with similar problem.
Turned off the PG in the data options and now sim runs smooth as butter. I hope the hotfix for wu6 will fix the PG problem which so many people are having.
Strange how some have it and some donāt⦠nothing is ever consistent.
Iām definitely having issues, downgraded all my settings, removed Global AI Ship Traffic, disabled traffic, and but funny thing is nothing gets maxed out.
Before the last update I had everything maxed out with good frame rates⦠now even with medium settings still get poor ground performance.
To everybody having trouble with poor performance on ground, is Photogrammetry working fine for you? As i am living in a city with full photogrammetry available, i recognized photogrammetry isnāt working all the time. even if i switch it in the settings, it is more like luck if it is loading correctly or not. Internet connection and bandwith is absolutely finde, game is on ssd/nvme2 everything worked fine before WU6. Even if i try to fly over New York, every building is generic except the handcrafted ones. and switching between Bing Data on and off means no difference. It is not even loading something. Like it is just not working or just āthinkingā it has loaded photogrammetry Data. Everything that should allow to load all Data is set to On in the settings.
In my special case i am starting from EDLT to the west and flying over Muenster with the Landmark Muenster Cathedral. The whole city should be with photogrammetry, but it isnāt.
And loading times are horrible. Like 2 or 3 minutes from world map to sitting in plane. Seems like Sim is trying to load data, but couldnāt do it.
Checked everything on hardware side, absolutely no problem with other games, benchmarks are fine, problem must be in the sim or at the point of communicating with the servers. Absolutely annoying. And everything the support does is sending me prewritten text with dumb instructions i told them i had already done. Even reinstalled the whole game twice.
